Opera VPN uses the optimal location for the best server.
Toggle it on and try reconnecting to enable VPN. Toggle off the VPN and wait for a few seconds. If you still have no connection, switch off the VPN and turn it on again. Restart the Opera browser and try using the VPN again. If you have access to the internet and the VPN is not working, proceed as follows. Reconnect, check your internet settings and try again. If you can’t access the pages, try accessing them on other browsers or devices. Use the Opera browser and open your popular pages without the VPN. If anyone knows this problem please help I would love to start using Opera GX I think it's a great browser that suits my style. I've search countless times, figured I'd just use chrome but having to use zoom for class, and use a school account for chrome that has to many extensions that just steal so much ram, it's annoying. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, searched the internet, found one post that had a video and showed basically the same thing as this, he/she said their graphics drivers were outdated, so I tried seeing if mine were outdated too, and they were all up to date.
I've included a clip of what occurs on startup. So I've been able to get into Opera GX a couple times after constantly clicking on the Opera GX icon, but after say 2-3 minutes it closes/crashes again.
